According to a biography by Henri Troyat, Peter the Great loved his toy soldiers so much that he executed a rat (by hanging) which had the temerity to chew the head off of one. He also imposed a tax on beards.
亨利·特罗亚特在传记中写道，彼得大帝非常喜欢他的玩具士兵，以至于他曾（用绞刑）把一只老鼠处死了，因为这只老鼠竟敢把一个玩具士兵的头咬下来。他还对胡子征收了赋税。
