据《明报》报道，中国浙江省的一名男子在挤掉嘴唇附近他认为是“痘痘”的东西后，几乎丧命。The 'pimple' had grown in size over time and caused him pain, so the 50-year-old gave it a squeeze and purged some pus.
随着时间的流逝，这个“痘痘”越长越大，于是这名50岁的男子挤掉了它，并且弄出了一些脓汁。
However, the area started to swell shortly afterward and his face ballooned the next day.
然而，这块区域不久就肿了起来，第二天，他的脸就像气球般鼓起。When the man sought help at a local hospital, he had developed a high fever and could not breathe properly. His blood glucose levels also rose rapidly.

A doctor who treated the man said the area near the corner of his upper lip had turned black which signaled the tissue there had died.
治疗该男子的一名医生表示，他的上嘴唇附近的区域变黑了，这表明该组织已经死亡。He was found to have developed sepsis, a serious complication of an infection. It triggers inflammatory responses throughout the body and can cause multiple organ failures and lead to death.
